Insolvency Associate or Partner Designate - Oxford
Insolvency Solicitor or Partner - Oxford
There are a number of aspects of this role and firm that make this stand out. If you feel they reflect where you are at in your career and feel that this could be something that drives you forward then we are interested in speaking with you.
As the title suggests, this is a an insolvency specific role. At its heart is the mainstay of full commercial insolvency work both contentious and non-contentious.
The role also has a key legacy component to it. By that we mean that there is an existing caseload of clients and work and a fantastic platform and fertile contacts to grow the department further. At present that caseload is being dealt with by a partner who is having to split their time between offices.
As a result the role requires someone with a degree of seniority and it is anticipated that this may be from 5 years PQE upwards. The ideal candidate could be a re-locator or someone from the local market but certainly must be someone with actual commercial insolvency under their belt whether contentious or non-contentious.
You will be able to hit the ground running and pick up on existing cases for which you will be supported within the firm as well as being encouraged to expand the team. The existing partner has already identified key areas and clients for growth so this would be very much a soft landing with a direct route to partnership.
That is not to say they are not open to the idea of bringing someone in as a partner and this is something they remain interested to speak to anyone about.
Ultimately the role will encompass a range of contentious and non-contentious work so it is imperative you have experience in that regard.
If you are an existing experienced insolvency solicitor looking for the next step up the career ladder then this could be perfect. Similarly if you are based in London and contemplating a move away from the City then we are interested in speaking with you. There is no absolute requirement for local market contacts albeit that you will have the desire to build those relationships.
If you think this could be of interest then please send us your CV or contact Paul Warburton for a confidential discussion.
