Corporate Senior Associate - Partnership appointment

Our client is a leading national law firm with an established and broadly full service offering in Manchester.

The firm already has a national presence within corporate as well as locally however with one eye on broader legacy, they recognise the need to further bolster the team.

The teams mainstay is firmly rooted in M&A but with broader appetite to evolve their private equity profile.

Ideally the team is looking for a credible, well-regarded and dynamic local market corporate senior associate who would want to play a key role in developing the brand and corporate profile of the firm.

For the right candidate this can represent a move for partnership to ensure you have the confidence in their backing as well as the credibility you need in the market.

Given the firm's existing profile it is likely that you will already be working with a national, strong regional or larger international practice. You will have experience of leading on transactions and have developed your profile in the corproate market.

As such your level of experience is likely to be 6 years + where you have taken on a good level of responsibility including mentoring more junior fee earners.

If you are a senior corporate lawyer and perhaps feel that the route to partnership is blocked or elongated then this could be chance to make that step and further your career.

The firm has great ambitions for the growth of the Manchester office and the scope of the role has genuine prospects of heading the team over the course of the next couple of years.
