Senior Public Sector Real Estate Lawyer - Manchester

A public sector development lawyer is required for the Manchester office of a leading International law firm to focus on public sector property development work.  We are ideally seeking to speak to candidates who has 6+ years post qualification experience and have focused on public sector development work.

This international firm has one of the largest teams of real estate lawyers in the UK including over 240 qualified lawyers.

Their  breadth of experience coupled with the firm's specialist knowledge means they are regularly advising on a complex multi-million pound development projects and the full breadth of top level commercial real estate work.
 

They have an extensive track record advising on all aspects of multi-million pound developments throughout the UK.  They are able to field a cross-discipline team of lawyers who are a match for the scale and complexity of the work involved.  The firms' clients include major developers, funders, investors and local authorities.

 

The successful candidate will ideally have gained experience in a City firm or large regional / national practice.  They will have a strong academic background and an outgoing personality.  Candidates must also be technically excellent but equally important, commercially aware and enthusiastic about, and demonstrate an aptitude for, business development.  They will be a team player with a strong client focussed approach.  They will also have excellent communication and organisational skills. 

 

The successful candidate will be a 6+ years qualified public sector development lawyer, and will have been involved in a range of public sector work including residential developments, mixed use developments and regeneration projects (acting for local authorities, Homes England, and/or developers working with those types of bodies).  They will play a key role in our public sector development practice, and will work closely with, and be an integral part of, the national development team.
