Corporate Solicitor - Leading Team
There are countless job adverts out there for corporate lawyers. I think I can safely say to those in good roles that you know that there would always be a chance to move. So why do so?
As ever I can tell you about the calibre of the firm and the quality of the work but chances are you are probably already getting that. As such there probably has to be more profound reasons for your looking to move.
I'd wager its not salary - you're probably being reasonably looked after.
Chances are it may be smaller frustrations and it may be that they aren't enough to compel a change. Maybe though they have festered too long or you're curious as to whether those things can be addressed - it could be support, scope for progression, client contact - any number of reasons.
It could be those reasons that prove the catalyst for change. Right now maybe you're busy enough and there is no need to address them. That is fine but maybe the grass could be greener and we'd welcome the chance to talk that through (of course we would).
This role is with a leading international firm and with exceptional quality of work - responsibility will be yours at a pace that you want it but you will be encouraged and supported.
Corporate teams can be hard places to work so it is testament to the leadership and the underlying culture that (despite almost daily effort to poach their people) they have not lost anyone to their competitors for quite some time. It is because people enjoy the culture, the support and the quality of work.
If you are 1 - 5 years PQE, even if it simply out of curiosity, with a strong corporate background (local market or re-locator) then we'd love to speak with you. The team do a full range of work and if you have a desire to work on public markets work they can accommodate this and whilst experience in private equity work is of interest it is not essential. At its heart, you will need experience of mainstream good quality M&A.
For those that might be considered a London relocating this is as close as it comes to getting the same quality of work.
