Construction Lawyers - various levels - Manchester

We are recruiting for a number of roles within a very well regarded construction team. Since there have been no signs of slow down and coupled with the increased work loads and the sparsity of construction candidates, the team are planning for the next 12 - 18 months and actively recruiting across a whole range of levels from NQ up to 8/9 years or Principal Associate.

This national team undertake a range of contentious and non-contentious work and, as with the varying range of PQE levels of interest, are comfortable looking at construction lawyers with a blend of experience or specialism down either path. 

In terms of work profile the team advise on construction risk management from procurement to completion (projects and dispute management across a broad range of sectors).  They act for private and public sector clients including developers, healthcare providers, education institutions, transport authorities, main contractors, sub-contractors and consultants.

They operate in a wide range of sectors with clients involved in commercial development, PRS, student accommodation, local government, transport, education, health, utilities, energy and investment. From a non-contentious perspective, the Construction team drafts and negotiates on all the major standard forms of contract, including JCT and NEC4.  From a contentious (disputes) perspective the construction team advises and acts on all forms of construction dispute resolution, including adjudication, arbitration, proceedings in the TCC, mediation and expert determination.
