Banking Solicitor (4–10 PQE)

An established and growing commercial law firm in Leeds is seeking a talented Banking Solicitor (4–10 years PQE) to join its highly regarded finance team.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious lawyer to take a meaningful step forward in their career, joining a busy practice with a strong pipeline of work across acquisition finance, real estate finance, corporate lending, and asset-based lending. The firm acts for a range of banks, alternative lenders, and corporate borrowers across the UK and internationally.

The Role

You’ll play a key role in advising clients on a wide range of banking and finance matters, including drafting and negotiating loan agreements, security packages, intercreditor arrangements, and supporting transactions from term sheet to close.

As a more senior team member, you’ll also:

• Take on supervisory responsibility for junior team members.

• Provide technical oversight and mentoring where appropriate.

• Support the Partner with business development and client relationship management.

• Help maintain and develop strong internal processes and client service delivery.

About You

• 4–10 years' post-qualified experience in banking and finance law from a well-regarded firm.

• Strong grounding in general corporate lending; exposure to real estate finance, acquisition finance or ABL is a plus.

• Confident managing transactions independently, while supporting team-wide objectives.

• Commercially minded, collaborative, and eager to contribute to a high-performing and supportive team.
