This leading national firm has an exceptional strength in clinical negligence work.  They have a highly successful team acting on behalf of Claimants seeking compensation for complex and life changing illnesses and injuries. 

This clinical negligence team in Manchester is part of a wider national network, servicing some of the most complex clinical negligence work in the UK.  They handle high value complex litigation and actions on behalf of Claimants, offering a challenging caseload.

They are looking now for a clinical negligence solicitor to join the Manchester team.  The role will be hugely varied and rewarding, including drafting pleadings, witness statements, client interaction including face to face meetings, as well as running negotiations and mediating settlement on smaller cases.

As well as being technically strong and able to deal with complex legal issues, the chosen candidate must be confident acting as a primary contact with clients daily, and a confident communicator.  This is a supportive team, so a collegiate team approach and willingness to assist more junior fee earners is important.  Experience working in Claimant work would be advantageous, but candidates from a Defendant background looking to work on Claimant cases of maximum severity are also encouraged.

The team are fairly open minded in terms of the level of experience, although a clinical negligence background and at least 1 year PQE (or relevant experience) is key. You will join a long established team with a friendly and supportive culture and enjoy excellent quality work.
