Commercial Litigation Solicitor - NQ+

Think Legal recruitment are working with a Top 100 commercial practice in Yorkshire who are looking to bring in a newly qualified solicitor into their recognised commercial litigation team. 

The wider commercial litigation team has over 30 fee earners with the Leeds office having a smaller team but growing well. The firm are one of the leading Northern practices who pride themselves on doing excellent quality work without needing a London presence.

This role will be based out of the firms modern Leeds city centre office.

The right candidate will have completed a seat in commercial litigation and will have good academics.

The work in the team is a really broad mix of commercial litigation dealing with matters such as contract disputes, professional negligence, IP litigation, defamation, and insolvency based litigation.

The client's vary from long standing regional businesses to larger nationals, well known media personalities/celebrities, elite sports people, and everything in between.

This is an excellent opportunity for an NQ to get access to good quality work from the off and be a key member of the team and not just a smaller cog in a large faceless machine.

There are excellent prospects of progress here with the firm always favouring internal promotion where possible and bringing on junior lawyers and giving them responsibility from an early stage.

The firm is a genuinely pleasant place to work and they have a low turnover of staff that reflects this. The Managing Partner here is young and dynamic and is well thought of, approachable and this is reflected in really positive culture.
