Think Legal are working with a national firm looking to recruit an Associate into a high profile Criminal Defence team.
This team operates nationally, but currently looking to grow the team in Manchester with the addition of an Associate around 1-5 years’ PQE.
The work within this team is of the highest level and includes a wide range of criminal investigations, prosecutions and inquests. Examples of work includes (but not limited to): defending HSE and Local Authority/Environment Agency prosecutions, high profile inquest and D&O cases, complex care home cases and defending motor prosecutions of a serious/fatal nature.
It is a busy and energetic team, offering interesting and high profile cases across a range of sectors.
If you have a background in Criminal Defence work and are eager to step up to handle a varied and complex caseload, this is an excellent role to push your career forward. Many team members also conduct their own advocacy at the Coroners Court, Magistrates Court and Crown Court – so advocacy experience would be beneficial but is by no means essential.
