Data Protection - In-House contract opportunity
- Location: Work from home
- Type: temporary
- Job Reference: 2888
- Salary: Daily rate of circa £200-£300
A small data protection team within an organisation in the North West is seeking some temporary help with an influx of work. This team sits as part of a wider legal, compliance and governance setup, and is made up of a DPO and an Assistant.
Ideally, they are looking for someone with a minimum of 2 years' experience in a Data Protection role, and for the experience to be as wide ranging as possible.
Day to day work will include advice and guidance to their business units and responding to queries, all the time providing pragmatic advice and oversight.
You will help in managing processes to support data subject rights and other data protection obligations, and supervise and advise on data protection impact assessments
You will also support the data breach response and data breach notification procedures, and assisting in reviewing and advising on contracts and data sharing agreements/initiatives.
Although a contract will be agreed for around 3 months to start, it will
have a strong possibility of extension to 6 months, and may move into a permanent role in time. This is a really nice organisation to work for, and team to be part of. You can work in a hybrid fashion if you like, between the NW office and home. Candidates who can only work remotely are also encouraged to apply.
For a confidential chat about the role, please contact Adam Zdravkovic in the in-house team at Think Legal.
