Think Legal Recruitment are working with a large commercial law firm who are growing their market-leading real estate team, and looking for a bright and ambitious junior real estate solicitor to join them in Leeds city centre.

This is a growth role, the real estate team has seen an increase in work and instructions of late and are looking at hiring over 10 real estate solicitors across several of their UK offices.

The work the team does is very much top end, high value and complex, and you will be working with some of the leading partners in their respective fields.

At the junior end the firm are looking to attract lawyers with broad experience of real estate law. From acquisitions and disposals, landlord and tenant to commercial and mixed use development work, there really is a variety of work.

No one is pigeon holed here, although there is the opportunity to specialise should you wish as you develop your career, and you will have access to a wide range of clients and across multiple sectors.

The firm can offer an international element to the work too, so you will gain exposure to and work with lawyers from other jurisdictions as well as working collaboratively with colleagues in the firm's several UK offices.

The real estate team nationally work seamlessly too, work isn't hoarded away in London, you will be working on big projects including international and London mandates.

The ideal candidate for the role should have at least 2 years' experience of working on good quality real estate matters. The firm are open minded about where you've trained and taken your first steps in law. Whether at a large international, smaller regional or local boutique they are keen to speak with technically strong lawyers irrespective of background. 

Progression is absolutely possible here - some of the Partners in Leeds trained here and progressed internally, there is definite scope for the right people to be looked after and do well.

The firm is flexible around work with 3 days in the office and 2 days working remotely.

Salary is very much the top end of the market rate for outside of London with great benefits.
