Senior Real Estate Solicitor

Think Legal Recruitment are working with a large commercial law firm who are growing their market-leading real estate team, are looking for an experienced real estate solicitor to join them in Leeds city centre.

This is a growth role, the real estate team has seen an increase in work and instructions of late and are looking at hiring over 10 real estate solicitors across several of their UK offices.

The work the team does is very much top end, high value and complex, and you will be working with some of the leading partners in their respective fields.

The firm are is open to attracting lawyers with broad experience of real estate law or those with specialist interests and experience such as commercial and mixed use development, residential development i the pubic and private sectors, and investment and asset management.

The firm can offer an international element to the work too, so you will gain exposure to and work with lawyers from other jurisdictions as well as working collaboratively with colleagues in the firm's several UK offices.

The real estate team nationally work seamlessly too, work isn't hoarded away in London, you will be working on big projects including international and London mandates.

The ideal candidate for the role should have at least 5 years' experience of working on good quality real estate matters. Whether at a large international, smaller regional or local boutique they are keen to speak with technically strong lawyers irrespective of background. 

Progression is absolutely possible here - some of the Partners in Leeds trained here and progressed internally, there is definite scope for the right people to be looked after and do well.

The firm is flexible around work with 3 days in the office and 2 days working remotely.

Salary is very much the top end of the market rate for outside of London with great benefits.
