Are you a Paralegal with at least 12 months' experience looking to build a career in one of the UK's most respected claimant abuse teams?
I'm working exclusively with an award-winning specialist practice looking to recruit an Abuse Paralegal to join its growing West Yorkshire team. This is an opportunity to work alongside highly regarded lawyers who are recognised nationally for their expertise in abuse litigation and their commitment to supporting survivors.

The department is led by an experienced Director with more than 25 years' claimant personal injury experience and almost a decade specialising exclusively in abuse claims. The team is known not only for achieving outstanding results for clients, but also for helping shape this specialist area of law through involvement in landmark litigation, policy consultations and close partnerships with survivor support organisations.

The Role
You'll assist on a varied and sensitive caseload involving abuse claims arising from a wide range of settings, including:

Local authorities
Schools and educational settings
Children's homes
Charities and youth organisations
Religious organisations
Sports organisations
Criminal Injuries Compensation Authority (CICA) claims

Working closely with experienced solicitors, you'll gain exposure to complex, high-quality work while developing your technical knowledge within a genuinely supportive environment.

About You
Ideally you'll have:

At least 12 months' Paralegal experience
Experience within abuse litigation or claimant personal injury
Excellent client care and communication skills
A compassionate and professional approach when supporting vulnerable clients
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
A genuine interest in developing a long-term career within abuse litigation
