A well-established law firm with a strong regional presence is seeking an Employment Solicitor to join their highly regarded employment team in South Manchester.

The Role

You'll be working alongside experienced employment lawyers on a varied caseload of predominantly Respondent work, handling both contentious matters (including Employment Tribunal claims) and non-contentious advisory work. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience across the full spectrum of employment law.

The Opportunity

The firm's track record speaks for itself – their most junior lawyer joined as a paralegal and successfully progressed through to training contract and qualification within the employment team so there is a great level of support.

• Qualified or shortly qualifying (they are not able to consider those qualifying in September)
• Prior or current experience within an Employment department. Ideally a minimum of 6 months experience within training.
• A clear passion for employment law 
• Strong academic background
• A genuine geographical connection to South Manchester
• Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented approach
