Employment Associate (3+ PQE) – Leeds

A well-regarded international law firm is looking to recruit an Employment Associate (3+ PQE) into its Leeds-based employment team.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a highly respected practice that advises major UK and international businesses on a broad mix of contentious and non-contentious employment matters. The team has a strong reputation in the market and is known for handling complex, high-value and strategically important work.
The Role
You will work across a full range of employment law matters including:

Employment tribunal litigation, including complex and high-value claims
-
Advisory work for HR teams and senior stakeholders
-
Business protection issues and whistleblowing matters
-
Strategic projects such as restructures, outsourcing and organisational change
-
Day-to-day employment support for large corporate clients
The work spans a number of key sectors including financial services, retail and consumer, energy and transport, and regularly involves advising large UK and international organisations.
You will be encouraged to take on meaningful responsibility early on, building client relationships and playing an active role in delivering advice on significant matters.

The Candidate
This role would suit an employment lawyer who:

Has 3+ years’ PQE in employment law
-
Has experience across both contentious and advisory work
-
Enjoys working closely with clients and building long-term relationships
-
Is looking to develop within a high-performing but supportive team
Working Arrangements
The firm operates a flexible hybrid model, typically involving around three days per week in the Leeds office, with the remainder working remotely.
