Head of Family - Partner/Path to Partner Opportunity
Bradford
Think Legal Recruitment are working alongside a well-known high street practice in Bradford who are looking for an experienced Family Lawyer to head up their well established family team.
This is a succession plan with the existing head of department retiring in the near future.
The team is small with 2 other family lawyers. One who works solely on public childcare work and the other doing privately funded work.
The right candidate for this role will have experience in both privately funded family work and also be on the Children's Panel as there will be a management/supervision and training aspect to the role.
The department is busy and there will be an existing caseload to come into. The work will mostly be privately funded divorce, separation, finances and private children matters.
The existing Partner has created a well-respected practice and work comes into the firm as a result of that reputation. That being said, the successful candidate should have good connections in the region and be proactive in terms of wanting to maintain and build the department moving forward.
This is the perfect opportunity for those family lawyers looking to take the next step in their career on the Partnership route or for those already at Partner level looking for a change.
The firm will pay up to around £70k depending on level of experience plus benefits.
