Insurance - Professional Support Lawyer

Think Legal are working on a new position with a highly respected national firm.  The knowledge team work across offices, providing a significant role in assisting their lawyers in the promotion and recognition of the work they provide, as well as fostering close relationships with clients and the external market. They are looking for an Insurance specialist to join the team, to focus on working closely with this sector within the business.

This leading national law firm has an exceptional reputation in Insurance work. They are looking now, to make an appointment in a non fee earning capacity, to be based from any of their UK offices.  The chosen candidate will focus on an external role, to promote their expertise with not only clients, but professional bodies, organisations and focus groups within the Insurance sector.  The role will be hugely varied, including raising market awareness of the work the Insurance team does through articles and leadership reports, providing training on legal and regulatory developments to the external market, and working on a wide range of projects to enhance relationships and help build new business.

The role will be significant in terms of establishing and maintaining relationships - both with the external market and collaborating internally.  You will work closely with the Insurance sector within the firm, but also with the wider knowledge team, new business and marketing, to help analyse opportunities and market trends.  It is a unique role within the firm, enabling the candidate to build solid relationships across the business.
