A successful and growing boutique law firm is making a strategic move into the Manchester market and is seeking an experienced Real Estate Partner to lead and develop its presence in the city. This is an exciting opportunity for a senior lawyer to shape a new office, backed by the resources and reputation of an established firm.

The Firm
With a strong footprint in the North and a track record of steady growth, this firm is known for its approachable culture, commercial focus, and high standards of client service. They are now investing in their expansion into Manchester—building on existing client demand and looking to attract top talent to drive growth in this key market. They have a depth and variety of clients - including FTSE 100 operations.

The Role
This is a rare opportunity to take on a leadership role from day one. The incoming Partner will be instrumental in growing the firm’s real estate offering in Manchester, with the full backing of a wider, well-established property team and senior leadership.

Key responsibilities include:

• Leading on commercial property matters such as acquisitions, disposals, development, leasing, and investment work

• Building and developing client relationships across the Manchester and wider North West market

• Working closely with the firm’s senior team to establish the Manchester office and build a local team

• Playing an active role in business development and brand visibility in the region

• Collaborating with colleagues across other offices to provide seamless client service

The Candidate
This role will suit an experienced commercial property Partner or a senior lawyer looking for a clear route to partnership. You’ll bring strong local knowledge and a proactive, entrepreneurial mindset. A following or referral network in the region would be advantageous, though not essential, as the firm is investing heavily in long-term growth.
