Business Immigration Lawyer - Leeds
Are you an experienced Immigration Lawyer looking to step into a highly regarded, supportive team working with an impressive client base?
If so, an award-winning national firm is looking to add an Immigration expert to its team. Working in Leeds city centre you’ll be joining a collaborative group known for its deep expertise in corporate and business immigration.
The Role:
In this role, you’ll be providing immigration advice on a variety of business matters, helping clients in the UK and globally navigate complex immigration challenges. Along with overseeing day-to-day issues like right-to-work checks, sponsor license applications, and compliance, you’ll be the go-to person for more complex advisory work. Expect to handle cases like the immigration implications of corporate transactions, compliance audits, defending clients from civil penalty notices, and advising on global mobility visas.
Your role will also involve training clients, speaking at events, and potentially taking on some contentious immigration work. If you’ve got a background in employment law, that's a bonus—but it’s not a requirement.
What You’ll Bring:
The ideal candidate will have a proactive, client-centric approach and the ability to build lasting relationships. Excellent communication skills are key, as is a desire to support business development efforts within the team.
You’ll need:
At least 7 years of post-qualified experience as an England & Wales Solicitor.
Strong background in personal and corporate immigration law.
Experience managing a full immigration caseload within a large regional or city firm environment.
