Clinical Negligence Solicitor 2-5 PQE - Manchester

This leading national firm has an exceptional strength in clinical negligence work.  They have one of the largest clinical negligence teams in the UK, and are on the panel for NHS Resolution work. 

This clinical negligence team in Manchester is part of a wider national network, servicing some of the most complex clinical negligence work in the UK.  They are a panel firm for NHS Resolution, offering a broad range of expertise.  They handle high value complex litigation and group actions, offering a challenging caseload.

They are looking now for a clinical negligence solicitor to join the Manchester team.  The role will be hugely varied and rewarding, including drafting pleadings, witness statements, client interaction including face to face meetings, as well as running negotiations and mediating settlement.

As well as being technically strong and able to deal with complex legal issues, the chosen candidate must be confident acting as a primary contact with clients daily, and a confident communicator.  This is a supportive team, so a collegiate team approach and willingness to assist more junior fee earners is important.  Experience working within an NHS Resolution panel firm would be advantageous, to give the foundation of understanding the NHS and their drivers, but not essential and candidates without this background are equally encouraged.

The team are fairly open minded in terms of the level of experience, although a clinical negligence background and at least 2 years' PQE (or relevant experience) is key. You will join a long established team with a friendly and supportive culture and enjoy excellent quality work.
