Commercial Associate Solicitor - Leading international Firm
An exceptional opportunity has arisen for an ambitious commercial lawyer to join one of the UK's most respected and forward-thinking legal practices.
This is a genuinely outstanding role for someone looking to accelerate their career within a team that is nationally recognised for its innovative, pragmatic approach and its commitment to delivering commercially intelligent solutions.
The Role
Joining an expanding Commercial Team, you will work alongside experienced Partners on high-quality commercial projects for a broad and impressive client base — including household-name organisations, major public sector bodies, and leading private sector clients across a range of industries.
You will sit within a team that is at the cutting edge of legal service delivery, with a strong focus on innovation, AI-enabled solutions, and technology-driven workstreams. The team collaborates closely with the firm's Corporate practice and works nationally across three offices, with reach into the firm's global network.
What You'll Do
• Draft and negotiate a wide range of commercial contracts
• Support major outsourcing, supply chain and strategic projects
• Advise on day-to-day commercial queries across a diverse client base
• Contribute to process improvement initiatives and innovative delivery models
• Build strong relationships with clients across retail, manufacturing, sport, technology, public sector, education and industrial markets
• Collaborate across the commercial group on complex AI, real estate and
technology-driven workstreams
About the Team
Our client's commercial practice is widely recognised for its proactive, pragmatic and innovative style. The team is dynamic, supportive and genuinely committed to the development of its people. Under strong senior leadership, the team is increasingly involved in delivering client solutions that leverage cutting-edge legal technology and AI-enabled services — including collaboration with the firm's Innovation and Change Board to transform how legal services are delivered.
Key team values include:
• Innovation and creative problem-solving
• Exceptional client experience
• Cross-office and cross-practice collaboration
• Flexibility and genuine work-life balance
• Entrepreneurial thinking and personal development
Who We're Looking For
Our client is seeking an England & Wales qualified commercial lawyer with approximately 2 years' PQE, ideally from a well-regarded commercial practice. The ideal candidate will demonstrate:
• Strong technical commercial law skills
• Sound commercial awareness and business acumen
• Excellent drafting and communication abilities
• A collaborative, proactive and positive mindset
• Genuine enthusiasm for innovation and technology in legal services
• An interest in developing sector specialisms aligned to the firm's global focus areas
What's On Offer
• A position within a market-leading, nationally recognised Commercial practice
• Early responsibility and significant direct client exposure
• Exceptional training, mentoring and support from senior practitioners
• Active involvement in innovation and firm-wide strategic initiatives
• Strong career progression through structured development programmes and
partner-led mentoring
• A collaborative, engaging and inclusive team culture
