An experienced commercial litigation lawyer is offered an excellent opportunity to join a Legal 500 ranked commercial litigation team at this top tier national practice in Birmingham.

This commercial litigation team in Birmingham act for clients throughout the UK and on cross-border matters across a range of sectors including technology, aerospace and defence, real estate, charities, the public sector, creative industries, pharmaceuticals and life sciences, education, healthcare, and energy.

The successful commercial litigation lawyer joining this award-winning commercial litigation team in Birmingham will undertake a broad range of complex, challenging and high-stakes commercial litigation work which will include:
 

• Disputes arising from mergers and acquisitions
• Matters relating to information law
• Reputation management
• Procurement matters
• Professional negligence
• Data and privacy infringements and protection
• Defamation claims
• Intellectual property disputes
• Insolvency
• Asset and debt recovery

This position is ideally suited to experienced commercial litigation lawyers with a minimum of five years’ PQE. Commercial litigation lawyers applying for this position should be able to display:
 

• A strong academic background
• Training and experience in commercial litigation gained with a reputable national practice
• Strong technical knowledge
• Strong communication skills
• Experience in the supervision of more junior lawyers
• Experience in business development and client relationship management
