Real Estate Finance Solicitor

Leeds/Manchester/Birmingham

Think Legal are working alongside a well regarded global law firm who are looking to expand their real estate finance team with the hire of an ambitious junior-mid level real estate finance lawyer.

The team is small in size, headed up by an approachable, highly thought of Partner, and further consists of 2 senior associates and one solicitor/associate.

The preference is for a Leeds based lawyer to work closely with one of the senior associates in Yorkshire, but there is scope for someone to come into the Manchester or Birmingham offices too.

The work is excellent quality acting on behalf of building societies, banks and other institutional lenders, in respect of acquisition and development funding, investment and restructuring and refinance projects. 

The opportunity is ideal for those in a real estate finance team who want to be part of a growing department, and who want to be able to stand out and develop their skills in a smaller team. If you are part of a larger team and want a clearer progression path in your career then this is the role for you.

Although the preference is for someone who has predominantly dealt with real estate finance, the firm will look at those more generalist real estate lawyers who have some exposure to real estate finance and enjoy the due diligence side of things and would like to move into a real estate finance team.

The firm is known is known as being flexible and inclusive, there is hybrid working here (and was pre-pandemic), and the wider real estate team really are a decent group of people first and foremost.
