Conveyancer 

North Yorkshire

Think Legal are working with a regional/high street West/North Yorkshire law firm who are looking for an experienced conveyancer to join their small residential property team.

This is not a volume/''conveyancing factory'' role and you will be working in a more traditional way with lots of face to face interaction with locally based clients. The wider residential property team currently consists of 3 senior fee earners, 3 legal assistants and 1 legal secretary.

This role will be based near to Skipton and you will be working with another fee earner, a legal assistant, and a legal secretary. 

The ideal candidate does not need to be a qualified lawyer but you will have at least 3 years' experience of carrying your own caseload of sale and purchase residential property matters. You will have experience of dealing with freehold and leasehold titles, transfers of equity, shared ownership etc There is the possibility here of someone coming in and over the mid-longer term heading up the department depending on experience and performance.

This is an office based role.

Salary is competitive (+ discretionary bonus) with the firm looking at circa £30k-£50k as a salary depending on level of experience and what else can be brought to the role.
