The successful corporate solicitor joining this renowned corporate team in Birmingham will undertake work for a broad range of domestic and international clients including major corporates, private equity institutions, and management teams across various sectors:
 

• Energy (nuclear, oil and gas, and renewables)
• Health and life sciences
• Infrastructure
• Technology and digital markets
• Financial services

In this role your work will be broad, complex, and challenging. You will undertake matters for clients within the UK and be involved in an array of cross border matters over multiple jurisdictions including Europe, the Middle East, Africa, US and Asia-Pacific regions. 


Matters will include (but not be limited to):
 

• Mergers and acquisitions
• Investments
• Disposals
• Joint ventures
• Buy ins and buy outs
• Takeovers
• IPOs
• Secondary fundraisings
• Private equity

This position is ideally suited to NQ corporate solicitors qualifying in 2022, however candidates who qualified in 2021 are also welcome and encouraged to apply. Corporate solicitors applying for this position should be able to display:
 

• A strong academic background
• At least a single corporate training seat
• Strong technical knowledge and commercial awareness
• Strong communication and negotiation skills
• An enthusiasm for business development and client relationship management
