The employment team in Birmingham forms an integral part of the firm’s national employment practice across their offices in the UK and work on multi-jurisdictional matters with their overseas offices in the Middle East.

The successful employment lawyer will join this highly reputable employment team working on matters for UK and international clients, FTSE 100 listed companies, blue chip companies, financial institutions, charitable bodies, and private individuals.

Your work will include:
 

• HR support
• Drafting and advising on policies and procedures
• Restructuring, redundancies, and TUPE
• Corporate support
• Tribunal litigation
• Acting on executive severances and settlement agreements
• Restrictive covenant disputes
• Disciplinaries and grievances

This position is ideally suited to employment lawyers with a minimum of four years’ PQE. Candidates applying for this position should be able to display:
 

• A strong academic background
• Experience in contentious and non-contentious employment
• Experience in business development and client relationship management
