SENIOR EMPLOYMENT LAWYER | 5-8 PQE | MANCHESTER

THE ROLE
This is a broad, largely non-contentious employment law position offering real depth and variety. You will advise a high-quality employer client base on a wide range of matters, including:
- TUPE transfers — advising and drafting across complex transactions
- Collective employment matters, including restructurings and redundancy programmes
- Change management programmes, such as contract variation exercises
- Day-to-day and complex employee relations and representation issues
- Transactional employment support — due diligence, employment warranties and indemnities, M&A, outsourcing and commercial arrangements
- Senior and executive-level recruitment and exit matters
YOU
Our client is looking for someone who is ambitious, commercially minded and genuinely enjoys their work. You will bring:
- 5 to 8 years' PQE gained within a respected Employment team
- Deep technical knowledge across a broad range of employment law disciplines
- Strong drafting, analytical and communication skills, with a sharp eye for detail
- Confidence working autonomously and managing client relationships directly
- Experience supervising junior lawyers (desirable)
- A track record of involvement in marketing and business development activity
- Experience advising employer clients on both contentious and non-contentious matters
- A collaborative, team-oriented approach with a genuine commitment to supporting others
