Experienced Planning Solicitor

Think Legal are working alongside a large commercial law firm in Leeds who are looking for an experienced Planning Solicitor to join their leading planning team.

The ideal candidate will likely be 3 years' + PQE and will have solid experience of working within a national or boutique planning firm.

The team is incredibly busy and the role has been opened due to a growth in work nationally.

The firm and team work with a number of large well known organisations on a broad range of planning matters.

Day to day you will be involved in large scale development consent orders, compulsory acquisitions, reviewing environmental statements, providing strategic planning advice, assisting on project management and supporting the wider national property practice at the firm.

You will have experience and a solid understanding of planning agreements, highway agreements, The Town and Country Planning Act 1990, dealing with JR matters, and of Environmental Impact Assessments. 

The firm is a top 30 practice with a strong reputation both regionally and nationally. The national team is led by a well known planning partner, and a highly regarded partner in Leeds looks after a small tight knit team there.
