The Role

They're looking for an experienced Family Solicitor to join their busy family law teams across two established Leeds offices. You'll be managing a privately funded caseload covering the full family law spectrum — divorce and financial remedy, separation, nuptial agreements, children arrangements, and domestic violence matters.

This is a role for someone who's done it before and done it well. You'll be comfortable running your own files from initial instructions through to conclusion, appearing in court, and delivering the kind of client care that keeps people coming back and recommending others.

Day-to-Day You'll Be:

• Managing a varied caseload of private family law matters
• Advising clients and taking instructions across all stages of a case
• Drafting statements, applications, and court pleadings
• Representing clients at court, including advocacy
• Handling new client enquiries
• Working with the wider team on billing and file management
• Instructing counsel and experts where needed

You'll Need:

• A current Practising Certificate
• Solid, hands-on experience in family law (privately funded)
• Strong advocacy and communication skills — written and oral
• The ability to manage a busy caseload with accuracy and efficiency
• A team-player mindset with the drive to work independently when needed
• A friendly, professional approach to client care

Salary
