Family Solicitor / Chartered Legal Executive (Private Family)

The Opportunity

I'm currently working with a well-established, Legal 500 recognised Yorkshire law firm looking to appoint an experienced Family Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive into its highly regarded Private Family team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a lawyer who enjoys privately funded family work and is looking to join a supportive, ambitious team with genuine long-term career prospects. The Role

You'll manage a varied caseload of privately funded family matters, with a particular emphasis on financial remedy work, while advising clients across a broad range of private family issues.

Working alongside an experienced and collaborative team, you'll provide practical, commercially focused advice while supporting clients through what are often sensitive and challenging situations.

About You

Applications are welcomed from Family Solicitors or Chartered Legal Executives with around 5-10 years' PQE, although candidates with equivalent experience will also be considered.

You'll ideally have:

• Strong experience handling privately funded family law matters
• A solid background in financial remedy work
• The ability to manage your own caseload with minimal supervision
• Excellent client care and relationship-building skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Good commercial awareness and sound technical ability
• A proven track record of achieving billing and performance targets

Experience of TOLATA matters would be advantageous but is not essential.
