Property Litigation Solicitor | Leeds | 3-5 PQE

We're working with a leading commercial law firm who are looking for a talented Property Litigation Solicitor to join their budding Leeds office.

Along with your bread and butter sectors they deal with the advertising, media, communications and film and tv spaces making them a unique proposition in the market. 

The Role
You'll be working closely with the Property Litigation Partner and Head of Group, with scope to work independently as appropriate. The role offers a great mix of advisory and court work across the full spectrum of commercial property disputes.
Core work includes:

-Commercial landlord and tenant matters
-Debt collection and LTA 1954 matters
-Break clauses and dilapidations
-Leasehold consents and forfeiture
-1995 Act matters

You'll also get involved in:

-Development disputes (including rights of light)
-Agreements for lease/development agreement disputes
-Neighbour disputes and specialist areas (telecoms, party walls)

The role includes regular travel to London for client and team events.

What They're Looking For

-3-5 years PQE in commercial property litigation
-Strong drafting, analytical and communication skills
-Ambitious, proactive and commercially-minded
-Interest in developing marketing and business development skills
-Experience in medium/large private practice preferred
-Comfortable dealing directly with clients and taking ownership of matters
-A genuine team player
