Real Estate Finance Solicitor – Manchester

We are partnering with a leading law firm in Manchester, which is looking to expand its highly ranked Property & Secured Lending team. This is an exciting opportunity for a Real Estate Finance Lawyer to join a dynamic, growing team with strong expertise in handling a wide range of property and secured lending matters.

The firm offers a supportive and collaborative culture, and this role presents an excellent opportunity for someone with 2 years plus PQE to join a well-regarded practice that prides itself on delivering high-quality legal services to a diverse portfolio of clients.

The Role

You will be managing a varied caseload, primarily acting for property investors on both acquisitions and refinancing matters. The role covers secured lending across residential and commercial property and offers the potential to engage in commercial property acquisitions, disposals, and lease transactions. You will work closely with partners and senior team members and have significant exposure to key clients.

The role provides an opportunity to develop a strong, well-rounded skill set, with direct client contact and opportunities for business development. The firm's established Property & Secured Lending team is known for its professionalism and collaborative approach.

What We’re Looking For

The firm is seeking a qualified solicitor or CILEX professional with a minimum of 2 years PQE in property or secured lending. You should have a solid track record in property transactional work, particularly with investors, and a strong understanding of residential conveyancing. Experience in short-term/bridging loans and long-term lending scenarios is essential, though training can be provided for those looking to develop further experience in acting for lenders.

This is a client-facing role requiring excellent communication skills and the ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and build strong client relationships. You should be a team player who enjoys working collaboratively in a fast-paced, supportive environment.
