Our client is a leading professional services firm with a legal practice operating within a much bigger, multi-disciplinary business — not a traditional law firm. If you've spent your career in private practice and are curious what it looks like on the other side, this is a genuinely different real estate role. 

The firm is building out its Real Estate legal offering in the North West and London and has a bluechip investment focused client base. The Manchester team already includes senior lawyers with strong City pedigrees, and the plan is to scale significantly further over the next 12 months.

About the role

We're looking for a real estate lawyer with 4+ years' PQE and genuine full life-cycle experience — acquisitions and disposals through to ongoing asset management. You'll be working with limited supervision and given real autonomy from day one.

• Ideally an investment/asset management background, though those with strong development experience will also be considered
• Comfortable pitching for high-profile mandates alongside senior colleagues
• The firm has excellent existing relationships with major institutional investors, and an excellent pipeline of high quality work.

The team

You'd be joining an established and growing Manchester real estate practice, working alongside partners and senior lawyers with strong City law firm backgrounds, and reporting into leadership with a clear growth mandate for the region.

Process

A straightforward two-stage interview process: an initial informal conversation with senior team members, followed by a more technical second stage. Manchester-based candidates have the option of an in-person meeting too but the team are open to considering candidates across the North West.
