Commercial Real Estate Solicitor — Manchester

Salary: dependent on experience

A well-established, national law firm is looking to grow its Manchester Real Estate team with the appointment of a Commercial Real Estate Solicitor. This is a genuinely broad commercial property role, working across landlord & tenant, acquisitions and disposals, site acquisitions, and private and social housing development work — with exposure across the full range of the team's work rather than being confined to one area.

About the team

This is a busy, well-regarded Real Estate team led by a group of pragmatic and commercially-minded equity partners who are genuinely invested in developing their people. The team offers:

• Daily and weekly catch-ups with senior team members
• Detailed file reviews and hands-on training input
• Genuine variety — general commercial property, L&T, acquisitions & disposals, site acquisitions, private development, and housing association developer work
• The opportunity to work across the full breadth of the team's caseload

What we're looking for

• Solid transactional experience — comfortable with matters such as easements, title investigation, and restrictive covenants
• Confident handling of day-to-day commercial property work, with the ability to manage a varied caseload
• Development experience is a bonus but not essential — most candidates at this level won't have it, and that's not a barrier
• A collaborative, hard-working approach — this is a fast-paced team with clear expectations around turnaround times and time recording

Working pattern

• Hybrid working: 3 days in the office, 2 from home, with the team working from home on Fridays
• Office hours 9.00am–5.30pm, with flexibility around personal commitments
• Full home office set-up provided
