Associate – Real Estate | Leeds

A leading global legal business is seeking an Associate to join its highly regarded Real Estate team in Leeds. You will be around the 2- 3 years PQE mark up to around 6 years pqe.

The Role

You will manage a varied caseload of commercial real estate transactional work, working closely with clients to deliver practical, clear and commercially focused advice. You will play an active role in supervising and mentoring junior colleagues, whilst maintaining and growing strong client relationships and contributing to the continued success of the team.

You will work closely with a Partner who has acted for developers, funders and landowners on a variety of different real estate development projects and who had led on numerous investment acquisitions and disposals for investment funds and high net worth individuals.

The Candidate

You will be a qualified solicitor with solid experience gained within a respected commercial real estate team. You will be confident managing files independently, with excellent drafting and negotiation skills and the ability to handle complex, multi-stakeholder transactions. A personable and collaborative approach is essential, as is the ability to prioritise effectively and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
