Residential Development Lawyer 2 years plus PQE - Manchester 

A leading national law firm is seeking an experienced residential development lawyer to join their award-winning Housebuilding & Strategic Land team in Leeds.

About the Team
This is one of the established residential development practices in the UK and operates as a national team, with a strong presence here in Manchester. The firm acts for a number of the top 10 and top 20 housebuilders and has recently secured several significant national housebuilder panel appointments and re-appointments.
The team advises a prestigious client base including:

• National and regional housebuilders
• Strategic land promoters
• Developers and regeneration companies
• Landowners and investors

Ideal Candidate Profile
The firm is seeking a technically strong, client-focused team player with proven competency in residential development work. Depending on experience level, candidates should ideally demonstrate:
Core transactional experience:

• Conditional and unconditional land contracts
• Option agreements and overage provisions
• Site assembly and easement matters
• Infrastructure and management agreements

Additional experience (desirable):

• Strategic land and promotion agreements
• Collaboration and hybrid agreements
• VAT and SDLT matters in development contexts

Professional attributes:

• Established or developing client relationships
• Track record with housebuilders, developers or landowners
• Ambitious with strong commercial awareness
• Collaborative approach and team ethos
