A restructuring lawyer between three and six years’ PQE is offered a rare and exciting opportunity to join a top tier restructuring team at this leading international practice in London. The restructuring team in London forms an integral part of a national restructuring practice working closely alongside their corporate and banking colleagues throughout the UK and overseas on complex and challenging restructuring matters for banks, funds, insolvency practitioners and clients across the financial services, central government, automotive, technology, life sciences, energy, and global corporate sectors.

The successful restructuring lawyer joining this leading restructuring team in London will undertake a broad range of high-value and often high-profile restricting matters for clients throughout the UK and internationally, which will include:
 

• Business restructuring
• Refinancing
• Debt equity swaps
• Claw-backs
• Liquidations
• Stocks, shares and asset acquisitions and disposals
• Distressed M&A
• Business transfers
• Bulk reinsurance
• Transformative transactions
• Portfolio transfers
• Joint ventures and strategic alliances

This position is ideally suited to Associate or Senior Associate level candidates between three and six years’ PQE. Candidates applying for this position should be able to display:
 

• A strong academic background
• Training and experience in restructuring gained with a reputable national or regional practice
• Candidate from a corporate or banking background with experience and an interest in restructuring are also encouraged to apply
• Strong technical knowledge
• Strong communication and negotiation skills
• Experience in business development and client relationship management
