Conveyancing Assistant – Residential Property
Think Legal are currently working in partnership with a highly regarded regional law firm looking to strengthen its Residential Property team with the addition of an experienced Conveyancing Assistant.

The Role
You’ll play a key part in supporting fee earners and the wider department, ensuring the smooth progression of residential conveyancing matters while maintaining high standards of client care and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing tasks through digital dictation systems (e.g. BigHand)
- Working with a case management system to progress files efficiently
- Ordering searches, carrying out AML checks, and submitting Land Registry applications
- Handling inbound calls and dealing with client and third-party enquiries
- Managing emails, post, and general correspondence
- Supporting file opening and closing processes
- Assisting fee earners to ensure work is completed efficiently and cost-effectively
- Adhering to compliance procedures and quality standards at all times
- Previous experience in a conveyancing support role
- Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Comfortable managing a busy workload and prioritising tasks effectively
- Proficient in word processing and general IT systems
- A team player with a proactive and professional approach
- Basic understanding of the conveyancing process is advantageous
