Real Estate Associate / Senior Associate - Sheffield

• Ideally 4 – 7 + years PQE but strong candidates with less PQE will be considered
• Full or Part time/ Hybrid working on offer

The firm

Our client is a nationally recognised, award-winning law firm with a dedicated real estate practice of over 150 lawyers spanning 13 UK offices. Their Sheffield team covers the full breadth of real estate work — landlord and tenant, commercial and residential development, investment acquisitions and disposals, fund management, property finance and regeneration — and is led by senior partners with recognised expertise in complex development and investment mandates.

The opportunity
Following a period of sustained growth, the Sheffield team is seeking an enthusiastic commercial property lawyer to join at associate or senior associate level. The role will be shaped to reflect the successful candidate's experience and can accommodate a broad range of backgrounds within commercial real estate.

What they're looking for
Ideally a minimum 4 years' PQE in commercial property, with solid, directly relevant experience

However, those with less PQE will be given consideration if they have particularly strong technical skills and are able to work independently

Strong commercial acumen and a track record of sound financial management

A self-starter with excellent interpersonal skills and a genuine commitment to client service

An appetite for business development and a desire to contribute to the team's continued growth

Up-to-date technical knowledge and competence in line with SRA standards

Key responsibilities
Delivering high-quality advice across a varied caseload, managing client relationships to an exemplary standard, accurate time recording and billing, meeting internal targets and managing WIP, and actively supporting the team's business development activity.
