Employment Associate / Senior Associate (4+ PQE)

I’m working closely with a well-regarded commercial firm on the continued growth of their Employment team in Leeds. This is a genuinely strong opportunity for an Employment lawyer looking for high-quality work, autonomy and a supportive environment.

You’ll be joining a friendly, down-to-earth team led by a highly approachable Head of Department, with the chance to play a key role in its ongoing expansion.

The Opportunity

• Advising a broad range of employer clients across multiple sectors
• Opportunity to develop sector specialisms (particularly education, if of interest)
• Mix of contentious and non-contentious work
• Genuine responsibility from day one, with scope to lead on matters and client relationships
• Regular exposure to complex and sensitive employment issues
• Working closely with senior stakeholders including HR and leadership teams
• Involvement in business development and growing your own profile

About You

• Qualified Solicitor with 4+ years’ PQE in Employment law
• Experience advising employer clients
• Strong technical ability with a commercial, pragmatic approach
• Confident dealing directly with clients and building relationships
• Keen to contribute to a growing team and wider business development

Sector experience (e.g. education or STEM) is helpful but not essential.
