Real Estate Lawyer | Darlington | All Levels (Ideally 3 years PQE +)

An established Yorkshire law firm is opening a new office in Darlington and is looking to speak with ambitious real estate lawyers interested in being part of it from the ground up.

The Opportunity

The firm has a strong track record in Yorkshire spanning decades and is expanding into the North East to meet genuine demand. The office is based in central Darlington close to transport links and is well connected, with Leeds under an hour away.
The office has capacity for a small founding team of lawyers.

Crucially, you won't be starting from scratch. The firm has active referrer relationships generating real estate work in the region, alongside the ability to pass instructions from their Yorkshire operation, meaning there's a real caseload to work with from day one.

What's on offer

The role is open to real estate lawyers at all levels but ideally you would be at least 3 years + pqe with the ability to work autonomously. It's particularly well suited to someone looking for a platform to build something — with the freedom to develop their own client relationships and profile in a market that's genuinely underserved, backed by the stability and support of a well-established firm.

The culture

The office will be led by a partner who has been with the firm for over 20 years and is personally invested in getting the culture right. Integration into the wider firm will be actively supported. This is a long-term commitment — not a short-term trial.
