Senior Associate – Professional Indemnity – Manchester

Our client, a leading international law firm, is seeking an experienced Senior Associate (or Legal Director) to join their highly regarded Professional and Commercial Risk team based in Manchester.

You’ll advise major insurers and insured professionals on complex, high-value professional indemnity and financial lines matters — including coverage, recovery, and strategic risk advice. The work is varied, challenging, and often involves cross-border elements.

The Role

• Manage a caseload of professional indemnity claims, both pre-action and litigated.
• Advise insurers on coverage across a range of policy types.
• Supervise junior team members and support partners on major matters.
• Maintain strong client relationships and contribute to business development initiatives.

• Solicitor with significant experience in professional indemnity and related coverage issues.
• Strong technical, analytical, and client-handling skills.
• Commercially aware, detail-focused, and confident managing complex work.
• Collaborative, adaptable, and committed to delivering high-quality advice.
