- Supporting vulnerable clients with capacity issues

Key Responsibilities
- Manage a complex individual caseload with minimal supervision.
- Supervise, mentor, and support junior team members.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships, attending meetings and hearings as required.
- Contribute actively to business development initiatives, networking, and client engagement to help grow the team’s presence.
- Collaborate across the team and wider firm to deliver excellent client service.
- Stay up to date with legal and regulatory developments within criminal law.
Requirements
- Qualified Solicitor or Barrister with relevant criminal and/or regulatory experience.
- Ideally 6+ years’ PQE.
- Higher Rights of Audience.
- Experience advocating in Magistrates’ Court and relevant Crown Court hearings.
- Confident representing clients in police stations and PACE interviews.
- Strong drafting, file management, and client relationship skills.
- Experience supervising and mentoring junior colleagues.
- Proven interest and experience in business development and client engagement.
- Ability to travel to client meetings, courts, and other off-site locations nationwide.
