Legal Counsel – Real Estate and Commercial

Location: Bristol (Hybrid)

A leading national property and infrastructure group is seeking a Legal Counsel to join its Bristol-based legal function. This role is a key appointment providing legal, regulatory, and contractual support for a large-scale, high-occupancy property portfolio and its diverse operational requirements.

Core Responsibilities:

• Commercial Contracts: Leading the drafting and negotiation of long-term partnership agreements and complex occupancy frameworks.

• Operational Advisory: Providing practical legal support to front-line management teams on residential matters and sensitive occupant-related issues.

• Regulatory Compliance: Advising on property licensing, data protection queries, and monitoring legislative changes affecting the residential and commercial portfolio.

• Asset Management: Supporting property ownership structures, intragroup arrangements, and value-add projects for the operating business.

This successful company is looking for a qualified solicitor, likely 1–3 years’ PQE, with a background in Real Estate or Commercial law. The role is well-suited to individuals in leading private practice firms seeking their first in-house move, or those with existing in-house experience. You should demonstrate strong commercial acumen and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, innovative corporate environment.
