Job Title: Associate - Real Estate Energy

Responsibilities:

• Advising on renewable energy projects, including wind, solar, battery storage, hydrogen and heat network schemes.
• Supporting charge point operators and landowners on EV charging infrastructure, including site acquisition, leasing, planning, regulatory compliance and grid connection.
• Drafting and negotiating real estate documents for commercial, mixed-use, regeneration and ESG?linked investment projects.
• Advising on land due?diligence, title, access, riparian rights and similar property matters (including specialist areas such as foreshore rights or hydroponic agriculture).
• Supporting clients with planning, procurement, site assembly, and development structures for infrastructure and sustainable urbanisation projects.
• Working directly with clients, including energy developers, infrastructure investors, charge point operators, real estate funds and local authorities.
• Collaborating with colleagues across real estate, energy, construction, regulatory and finance teams.

• Qualified solicitor in England & Wales and/or Scotland with 2+ years PQE.
• Strong experience in commercial real estate law, ideally with experience or an interest in the energy or renewables sector.
• Excellent drafting and negotiation skills.
• Ability to manage complex transactions and multiple stakeholders.
• Ability to work across multi-disciplinary teams.
