Senior Legal Counsel – Corporate and Commercial

This is a newly created role to focus on a mix of commercial and corporate matters for a large consultancy in Manchester. You will join a team of 3-4 lawyers and paralegals based in Manchester city centre.

The ideal candidate will have a mix of commercial contracts experience in different jurisdictions, and be able to handle a certain amount of corporate work, so some M&A transactional experience and company secretarial duties would be good. A solicitor with 4-7 years’ PQE feels about right for the job described and salary level on offer, somewhere between £65k and £80k.

This is a fast paced and fast growing group, and the senior lawyers in the team are excellent. You will work really closely with the General Counsel and help in developing the in-house legal team as the business grows around you.
