Associate/ Senior Associate - Commercial & IP Solicitor  – Commercial, Manchester, Liverpool, Lancashire (flexible working)

Location: Liverpool or Manchester but flexible across multiple offices with hybrid working options

We are working with  a fast-growing, innovative law firm disrupting the traditional legal market. With a diverse client base, including PLCs, developers, and household names, they offer a progressive, agile working environment and a different approach to legal services.

What to Expect:

The team are seeking an Associate up to Senior Associate Solicitor and will consider candidates from 1-2 plus years’ post-qualification experience . You will have the opportunity to work on a range of commercial and IP matters, including general commercial contracts, IP (soft) alongside IT and software licensing (experience in this area is definitely added value but not essential). In addition you will gain exposure to broader sports and media work. You’ll manage your own caseload and have the opportunity to contribute to business development and build strong client relationships. At a more junior level you will receive high quality supervision from lawyers who have worked at some of the largest international firms.

The Ideal Candidates:

• commercial and IP experience (good degree of technical knowledge at the more senior end)
• Strong technical interest and passion for commercial law
• Proactive, organised, and able to manage a varied workload
• Excellent communication skills and ability to build client relationships
• A strong team player with a commercial mindset
